Find your code
Open Bonfiyah on iPhone → Settings → Bonfiyah Friends. Your unique code and a tap-to-copy invite link live there. Every Bonfiyah account gets one — including Free.
Share with a friend
iMessage, email, AirDrop, social, group chat — wherever you'd recommend an app you actually use. The invite link drops your friend straight onto the App Store with your code pre-filled in Apple's redemption sheet. They tap Redeem, sign up, and the free month attaches to their first billing cycle.
Both sides get a free month
When a referred friend signs up, Apple immediately credits them with a free month at the tier they chose. Your account banks one free month, lockboxed for thirty days while we make sure the friend stays subscribed. After the lock-in clears, the credit applies automatically against your next renewal — Apple extends your subscription's renewal date by a month at no charge. You can bank new credits during your first 180 days as a Bonfiyah Friend — already-banked credits stay yours forever.
The math
Twelve referrals = a free year.
On Pro AI at $34.99/mo standard, twelve successful paid signups earns you twelve free months — your full year covered. There's no cap. Sixteen referrals and you're a year ahead. Twenty-four and you're two years ahead.
Most apps cap referral rewards because the unit economics don't work past a certain point. Bonfiyah's don't — every paid signup is genuinely valuable to us, and every retention month earned through a referral is genuinely valuable to you. So no cap.
Worked example
You're a Pro AI subscriber paying $34.99/mo (post-intro). You refer 6 friends over a year. Each completes 30 days on a paid tier.

Who can refer
Any Pro or Pro AI subscriber. Free users can share their code too — credits bank against your account and apply automatically once you upgrade.
Who can be referred
New Bonfiyah users only. Existing subscribers using a code don't earn the credit on either side — Apple ignores it as a no-op.
When credits apply
Your friend's free month attaches at signup through Apple's redemption sheet. Your free month banks immediately on Bonfiyah's side, then locks in for thirty days. After the lock-in window the credit applies to your next renewal — Apple extends your subscription's renewal date by a month automatically. If a referred friend cancels and refunds within the lock-in window, the corresponding banked credit reverses.
Tier-aware reward
Your banked credit is tier-aware — a Pro AI subscriber's free month is worth $34.99 of Pro AI; a Pro subscriber's free month is worth $24.99 of Pro. The friend's tier doesn't change the size of your reward; their reward is sized by what they choose.
180-day referrer window
Every Bonfiyah Friend gets a 180-day window — exactly six months from the day you claim your code in-app — to refer new users. After that, your code retires from the program; already-banked credits on your account are not touched and continue to redeem at your renewals until used up. The window keeps the program tight and fair: everybody gets exactly the same 180 days, regardless of when they joined. (180 is the value the backend enforces; we say "180 days" rather than "six months" so the page and the code agree to the day.)
Fair use
Codes are for personal sharing with friends, family, colleagues, and your network. Mass-spammed codes, paid placements, fake-account farms, and obvious abuse get the credit reversed and the code may be deactivated. We've kept the fair-use rules deliberately light because most people don't need rules to share an app they like.
No stacking with other discounts
Referral credits and Bonfiyah's intro pricing both apply, but they don't stack on the same month. Credits earned during your intro window apply against the post-intro standard rate, not the intro rate — so a free month after intro is genuinely a free $24.99 (Pro) or $34.99 (Pro AI) month.

How does Apple credit the free month?
Bonfiyah uses Apple's Promotional Offer Code system. When your friend taps your invite link, Apple's redemption sheet opens pre-filled with a unique code; they tap Redeem and sign up. Apple applies the discount directly to the first billing cycle — no Bonfiyah account juggling, no manual redemption later. For the referrer's free month, Bonfiyah's backend asks Apple to extend your subscription's renewal date by a month after the friend's lock-in window clears. The whole flow runs on Apple's servers; we just orchestrate it.
What's the lock-in window for?
If a referred friend cancels and refunds within the first thirty days, we reverse the corresponding banked credit on your account. We honor the same thirty-day money-back promise we make to every Bonfiyah subscriber, so your reward only locks in once the friend's signup actually sticks. After day 30, your credit is yours — it'll redeem at your next renewal regardless of what the friend does later.
Why does my code retire after 180 days?
Every Bonfiyah Friend gets a 180-day window — exactly six months from the day you claim your code in-app — to refer new users. How does the Bonfiyah Friends referral program work?
Every Bonfiyah account — including Free — has a unique referral code under Settings → Bonfiyah Friends. Share the code or invite link. When a new user signs up using it, Apple credits them with a free month at signup, and your account banks one free month — locked in after the friend's first thirty paid days, then redeemed automatically at your next renewal.
Can I stack referrals?
Yes. Refer 12 paid signups and your next year is free, automatically. There's no cap as long as your subscription remains active. Free months apply at your subscription's renewal cycle and Apple handles the proration.
What if my referred friend cancels?
If a referred friend cancels within the first 30 days, the credit is reversed on both sides. After day 30, the credit is locked in for both you and them — your free month stays even if they later cancel.
Does Free → Free work?
No. Both sides need to be on a paid tier (Pro or Pro AI) for the credit to apply because there's no subscription to credit on the Free tier. If you're a Free user and you refer a friend who signs up to Pro, the friend gets the credit and you get a credit banked — applied automatically when you upgrade.
Can I share my code on social media?
Yes — within reason. The code is for personal sharing with friends, family, colleagues, and your network. Mass-spammed codes (paid placements, scraper accounts, fake reviews) are detected and the credits don't apply. Bonfiyah reserves the right to deactivate codes used in violation of the fair-use policy.
Is there a difference between referring a Pro signup vs a Pro AI signup?
Either earns one free month at the tier you're currently on. A Pro AI subscriber referring a Pro signup gets one free month of Pro AI credited. A Pro subscriber referring a Pro AI signup gets one free month of Pro credited. The reward scales with your tier, not your friend's.
When are referral credits applied?
Credits are applied at your next renewal — Apple skips that month's charge. Stack multiple referrals and each one extends your subscription by another free month at successive renewal cycles.
What about credits during my intro pricing window?
Credits earned during your intro pricing window apply against the post-intro standard rate — so a free month after your intro period ends is genuinely a free $24.99 (Pro) or $34.99 (Pro AI) month.
